Pregunta

Can anyone tell me how to create monthly archives on here so that there is not such a long loading time? We used to have them, but they disappeared.

A few more weekend pics

Uncle Leonard is a science teacher and loved seeing all the critters around here. There are gobs of these caterpillars, and I've been curious about what they become....maybe the dragon fly below???

Look at that swan. It's taller than you Timmy!

Pushing Dean

Sam brought these wildflowers back for me from his bike ride. :)

Sippy cup

I forgot to get a picture of Laura, and this was as close as I came. Dean is on his backpack leash. Tim has one too, but we mostly use it at the grocery store.

Remember Wilson on that show 'Home Improvement'? I feel like that's what it's like taking pictures of Timothy lately. Here he is smelling my flowers.

A New Ham

Here is Tim turning away from the camera, the little goober. He was being so cute trying to get the Bjorn on and getting the bear in there, but he wanted nothing to do with the camera.

Caleb was having fun when Tim was pushing him in circles, but here is Tim hiding from the camera again.

As Tim is suddenly camera shy, Caleb seems to be turning into a ham.

I love Caleb's expression here. Once again, I dressed the boys in matching outfits, and Tim wanted to 'hode' Caleb. Of course he hid his face when he saw the camera.

Our friends Sarah and Alex visited this week, and the boys all kept each other entertained.

Happy Father's Day!

This is Caleb after I combed all of his hair upward in the bath. It's all fuzzed out. He got that upper right incisor today too.

Tim kept looking away from the camera, but I caught him. :)

Timothy always says, "Hello," when we are on the phone and wants to talk, or at least to listen. Sometimes he will talk or 'pretend' talk. He clearly enunciates his pretend words in his conversations, like he is doing above. Below is a rare smile for the camera.

Pics from the week and Quick Swankster Update

The Swanksters pulled out at about 3PM on Friday and just passed over into Canada about 1PM today with hopes of reaching Calgary soon.

Moving Day....sad to see our friends go so far away, but happy for them.

Tim 'helping' load the bikes...Yes, it was a chilly June day.

The pictures above and below are of the boys and Louise on the boys' first outing on a train. Tim wasn't so sure about it at first but really liked it by the return trip. We were all tuckered by the end of the day.

Not-so-fun First for Timmy

I think it was just the other day that I was thinking we'd never had stitches with Timothy, which sort of surprised me given his level of activity and how gutsy he is. Well today was the day for that 'first.' Around dinner time Timothy picked up a knife off the counter (which he knows he was not supposed to do) and started to bring it to me rather than putting it back on the counter as I told him. When he brought it to me, he would not give it to me, so I pried it out. As I was pulling it away, he grabbed again and caught the blade. After some panicky moments, Sam stepped in to help me apply pressure, elevate it, etc. Our nurse friend Sarah was on her way over anyway and was able to assess it for us. She thought it would likely need sutures, so Sam & I and left Caleb with Louise and headed to the clinic. We went to a clinic that was still open for awhile where Timothy got three stitches in his right middle finger and four on his ring finger. The worst part, aside from the injury itself, was getting the shots in his fingers. If we kept him distracted with our faces, Signing Time!, snacks, and his stuffed bear, he did OK. Blogger isn't uploading pictures now, but I'll try to post one soon of his bandaged fingers.
