4 Teeth for Caleb

Where I found Tim last night in his room...I put him into his bed where he slept nonstop until 10AM!!! That is a record. He is napping now...going on 2.5 hours!

Teething

With the teething, he is really enjoying his 'baby biscotti' (zwiebak).

Caleb now has two teeth on the bottom and one on top. Two more might be close to emerging on top too. I tried to get a couple of pictures that show his teeth.

On another note, Tim tries to say 'Caleb' now rather than just 'baby' or brother.' When he says it, it resembles, 'leb-lee.'

This is Tim on his bike we got him at a garage sale last weekend. He loved trying it out. His helmet has a lion on each side with mane, in case you are wondering about the hair on the side of the helmet. He got it on himself, and he was very pleased about that.

6 month

Caleb had his six month check-up today. He is 19lbs 2oz (same as Tim to the ounce at 6 mos) and 27.5" (1/4" shorter than Tim at 6 mos). This past month he has changed quite a bit: tooth, rolling, sitting-up, grabbing for objects and faces, making raspberries, and getting his toes to his mouth.
Timothy learned the skill of climbing out of his crib at my parents house. One afternoon he just surprised us all by joining us in the living room. He is also undressing himself more, especially when he wakes up. Combine this with his new skill and a poopy diaper (5/3/08), and you have a disgusting mess requiring lots of laundering. Now he is home and doing a great job of sleeping in his car bed.
We spent a few days in Moab/Arches Nat'l Park, and I'll post some of those pictures soon.

Kalvin with his cars...This guy knows how to ham it up for the camera! In case you are wondering about the tubes, Kal gets some help breathing because of complications of a form of muscular dystrophy.

Kal and Tim swapped wheels for awhile. Kal skateboarded on Tim's scooter, and Tim took "Bob" for a ride on Kal's stroller.

Mom on crutches after a knee injury...problem is still a bit of a mystery but likely some arthritis complications...likely a surgery in a month. We'll see.
